The 3M™ PELTOR™ Optime™ I earmuffs are a lightweight hearing protector that combine perfectly with other protective equipment through their helmet attachment. They are ideal for applications where a helmet must be worn and where there is exposure to medium-level industrial noise such as that found in workshops, metalworking shops or printing plants. They are also suitable for outdoor activities such as lawn mowing or hedge trimming. There are various adapters to choose from, making the hearing protectors compatible with a wide range of helmets. The earmuffs attenuate noise levels by up to 26 dB. They feature sealing rings filled with a unique combination of liquid and foam. The generous space inside the capsules helps counteract heat and moisture buildup. The wide soft pads reduce pressure around the ears, allowing comfortable wear for long periods of time. The pads and foam inserts are available in the form of hygiene kits that can be easily replaced.
